Participants will receive a full COVID event plan prior to the race, based on restrictions in place at the time.

You will receive a confirmation email with a receipt of your booking.
We will then send you a digital copy of the event manual prior the race.
No, you will pick up your timing chip and race number at the registration desk on race day.
No, unfortunately we are not insured to allow dogs on the course for this event.
Yes, headphones are permitted, however it is essential that you remove them for the start of the race and at any road crossings.
The course will be marked with arrows and orange tape.
It is the runners responsibility to successfully navigate themselves around the route, so remember to keep you head up and lookout for our signage.
If you are not confident of doing this, please ensure you can follow the route via your phone/watch or have recced it before hand.
All runners will receive a printed Ordnance Survey map, marked with the route, which they are required to carry during the race.
There are toilets available at the on-route checkpoints (6 & 16km). There are also public toilets available a short walk from the registration and there will be a portaloo at the Coombe Hill finish area.
The course is entirely off road on well maintained public footpaths and isn't particularly technical.
The route is on mixture of dirt tracks, woodland footpaths and country lanes.

Each runner is responsible for their own safety while crossing roads, and if necessary runners will need to stop to allow traffic to pass. We will not have right of way.
No, there are no pacers allowed on the course.
Yes, you can drop of a small bag at registration and collect it at the finish line.
If you are not seriously injured and want voluntarily withdraw please do this at one our checkpoints. In all instances you must alert a race marshal in person or via phone call before leaving the event.
If you sustain a non-serious injury and are unable to withdraw at a checkpoint, you should call for assistance using the 'race director phone number'. If you sustain a serious or life threatening injury you should immediately call the emergency services.
Under UK Athletics Rules (Rule 3) any Competition Provider granted a Trail Running Licence by UKA must impose, in addition to the basic entry fee, an additional fee of £2 (to be known as the 'Additional Unattached Entry Fee') on every entrant in a Senior Open Trail Running race who is not a member of a Club affiliated to a National Association or is not a registered member of the TRA.
